Lapwing Group was founded by Vinod Jadhav, a problem-solver from rural Maharashtra who recognized a fundamental truth: Businesses don’t run on contracts—they run on responsibility..
Inspired by – Vinod established the company with a mission to provide transparent, reliable property management services. What began as a solution for Mumbai’s cooperative housing societies has evolved into a comprehensive facility management powerhouse.
Today, our multi-disciplinary leadership team has built Lapwing into a trusted partner that delivers low-noise, high-discipline service.We are invisible when everything runs smoothly, and indispensable when it doesn’t.

Who we are
Dr. Vinod Jadhav
Designated Partner
He is an entrepreneur dabbling in multiple businesses, and a seasoned business leader with decades of expertise in property management, building society operations, and regulatory compliance. His practical approach and deep understanding of government processes have established him as a trusted advisor in India’s complex real estate market.
His vision for all of his business ventures has been that of being a one-point umbrella solutions provider for customers. After working in the corporate sector for 15 years and keenly observing how MNCs provide solutions and innovation to customers, Vinod decided to embark on his own entrepreneurial journey with a range of successive businesses in various sectors. An opportunity to work on legal rights of customers dealing with the construction industry led him to create the Lapwing Group’s range of businesses in the sector. The Group’s expertise in various departments, from legal to housekeeping, finds its roots in Vinod’s enterprise and foresight in steering the Group in the right direction early on.
Shafi Patel
Designated Partner
Aviation industry veteran with leadership experience. He has led large teams through high-pressure operations. He brings entrepreneurial vision and customer service expertise to elevate industry standards through innovation and accountability.
In addition to his formidable expertise in aviation, Shafi has successfully navigated entrepreneurial ventures across international trade and creative industries. This has given him a much-needed broad perspective on business cycles and client expectations, which the Lapwing Group is pleased to implement across its projects, He has a keen eye for spotting kinks in, and resolving, workflow and operational challenges. He has been instrumental in building trust-based client relationships for the Group, especially when working in complex and demanding environments in India and abroad. He applies strict rigour and service orientation to drive innovation for the Group, and to set new benchmarks in facility and workforce management.
S. Mirajuddin
Designated Partner
After 40+ years in security and facility management, including 7 years as a commissioned officer in the Indian Army, Mirajuddin leads our operations and risk governance management division. He previously served as Assistant General Manager with a leading nationalised bank, overseeing security, and compliance for 150+ branches in India. He recruited and trained 500 ex-servicemen in the banking sector, at all levels. His military style discipline and focus help him anchor our strategy, SOPs, and training frameworks.
Beyond governance, Lapwing Group benefits tremendously from Mirajuddin’s ability to manage and motivate large, diverse teams under demanding conditions. Over the years, he has designed and devised various training and security protocols, even customising them as needed. The frameworks he has designed and set up for handling customer grievances and enforcing workforce discipline have resulted in a well-trained pool of manpower that redefines Lapwing’s promise of reliability. If it’s about people-first management with military precision, there’s nobody better than him to ensure that every member of staff operates with the highest standards of accountability and responsiveness.
